MSW/MPH Dual-Degree Curriculum
This accelerated program requires 85 credit hours, typically taken over three years. MSW/MPH 黑料社s take 33 credit hours in social work and 34 credit hours in public health. An additional 18 credit hours are counted toward the completion of both degrees.
Within 33 MSW credit hours, you will complete two practica and have opportunities to personalize your curriculum toward your concentration, with coursework such as 鈥淧ractice with Organizations and Communities,鈥� 鈥淒esigning Sustainable Social Policies and Programs,鈥� and 鈥淪ubstance Use Disorders.鈥�
Within 34 MPH credit hours, you鈥檒l complete one practicum and coursework such as 鈥淕ender, Poverty and Global Health,鈥� 鈥淧ublic Health and the Built Environment,鈥� and 鈥淗ealth Administration and Policy.鈥�
Students also take 18 credit hours of MSW/MPH equivalent courses, which integrate issues of social work and public health, including 鈥淪ocial Justice and Human Diversity鈥� and 鈥淩esearch Methods.鈥�
